Modern Flight Simulators reproduce model flight, scenery and effects incredibly realistically. In order to

produce this tremendously high standard of simulation they take advantage of the latest computer graphics

technology. Therefore to avoid disappointment we strongly recommend that before

purchasing any Flight Simulator that you check your computer specification to ensure that you have a

sufficiently powerful graphics card and processor installed and that your system meets the

requirements of the simulator.

To assist you we have listed a range of graphics cards which will work with these high specification

simulators, and also a list of graphics cards which are known not to be capable of running these

simulators.

Recommended 3D-graphics cards:

 Nvidia GeForce 3 and GeForce 4 ,  Nvidia GeForce 4Go / FX Go / Go 6800 ,  Nvidia GeForce FX series (5700, 5900),   Nvidia

GeForce 6 series (6600, 6800, etc.) ,  Nvidia GeForce 7 series (7800),  ATI Radeon 9xxx series ,  ATI Radeon X-series (X550, X600, X700, X800, X850, X1300, X1600, X1800) ,  ATI Mobility Radeon 9xxx series ,  ATI Mobility Radeon X series,  Nvidia

GeForce FX 5200 (These cards are Ok, but some model/scenery combinations might not run fast enough)

The following cards are NOT recommended:

Non ATI oder NVIDIA based 3D-graphics controller ,  All motherboard integrated 3D-graphics controller ,

Any Intel integrated 3D-graphics controller ,  Any AMD integrated 3D-graphics controller ,  Nvidia GeForce2 MX series

All Matrox cards (the current line of Matrox cards is not compatible with AeroFly. There seems to be a driver bug that prevents AeroFly from working) ,  ATI XPert / ATI All In Wonder / ATI Rage (this accounts only for the old 7xxx series.)

3DFX Voodoo1, Voodoo2, Voodoo3, Banshee  (The 3DFX company is no longer in business!) ,  S3-Pro  Savage
